Can pour shared by AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Opaque black with nice head with fair retention and nice lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, hint of bitterness. Taste is strong bittersweet roasted malt over pine. Smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Decent strength, enjoyable.

16 oz can. Aroma and flavor are a copy. Soft roast and chocolate with a mellow pine underneath. Caramel hints. Body is medium plus with a balance of sweet and pine. Nice!

Brewery draught, 10/14/23. Clear, dark. Small, light-tan head, moderate retention. Easygoing chocolate and mild, mellow roast. No big ash or heavy, stale roast notes nor great acidity. Good base malt character adding a good amount of caramel-like character. Clean. In the mouth it's soft, malty, well-attenuated with light dark fruits that don't overpower but add gentle acidity and balance the light roast and sweet malts. Hints of prune and blackberry. Simple, but not over-roasted and quite clean and drinkable.
