A blend of Barrel-Aged Rye Barleywines - a heavy Maris Otter malt bill enhanced with 3 different rye malts and then heavily boiled until we hit gravity. After fermenting with a strong English yeast strain, we aged this beer in Willett Rye, Willett Family Estate Bourbon and California Ruby Port barrels for 28 months before picking the final blend. We bottled this beer in June and have let it rest until now before sharing with you.

Shared draught, 9/29/23. Slight clarity, greyish-brown. Thin, dark beige head to ring. Sweet brown sugar and vanilla with mild spice and fruity coconut. Good mix of strong barrel and strong malt. Crunchy chocolate and vanilla. Light raisin, light rumminess, good hybrid character between barley and stout. Soft, chewy raisiny. A bit sweet. Maybe I'm not as much a fruity coconut, raised by barleywine guy, and this isn't too sweet, but it's still just a tad mushy.
