Thanks for sharing. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma: burnt toffee, spiced malts, dark chocolate and molasses. Taste: molasses, wood barrels, brown sugars and dark chocolate. Nice barrel action.

Svart med tynt beige skum. Lukter røstet malt, alkohol, sjokolade. Smak av mørke stenfrukter, sjokolade, mørk karamell. Myk I munfølelse. Fyldig.

Panda at home, thanks to the Wingmane, 20/01/24. Black with a tan head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, spice, molasses, charr, dried fruit rinds. Taste comprises cacao nibs, charr, spice, dark malts, burnt toffee, toasted brown sugars, umami, modest tequila, light smoked tones. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Tidy enough BA impy but would have liked more barrel presence although it did come through a little more on the final sips.

500 ml from the brewery. #236/1080. Aroma shows smoke, agave, and over-roasted malts. In the flavor of the imperial stout is over, roasted with notes of star anise, and tequila. Very charred.

Bottle pour shared with membership group. It's an inky opaque black with nice viscosity, ring of beige head. Aroma is strong roasted malts, wood. Taste is strong roasted malt, earthy tequila barrel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation. Overall, decent base but Tequila isn't my favorite.

500mL bottled 1/31/23, #236/1080, drunk 9/16/23. Clear, dark mahogany. Red edges. Tan head instantly to ring. Dark notes of vanilla and chocolate with no actual tequila, but a light wood and vegetal spice that helps balance. Light roast, tons of chocolate. Clean. Well...that's roasty. Is that seriously that much smokey mezcal? Didn't think tequila was smokey...That is fucking smokey and vegetal, spicy. Kind of dry, thin, very chocolatey with vanilla and lingering tequila spice. I like the barrel and I like the beer, but the texture and the smoke/roast don't really go with the light, thin body.

11m 15 days 1/31/23 236/1080 aroma is aroma is smoky, chocolate, mezcal. Taste follows, smooth, barrel comes through.
