For our third and final Wavy Days collaboration beer we hit the brew deck with the fine folks from Other Half! Being from coastal Maine, it’s hard not to love everything about the ocean, especially Boat Stuff! This 5.4% New England pale ale was brewed with Moutere, Meridian, and Centennial hops provided by Crosby Hops; creating waves of citrus, berry, and sweet tropical fruit. We’re excited to share the beautiful state of Maine with our friends from NYC and get them on the water to enjoy some Boat Stuff!

Can (8/2/23) pour from The Beer Store, Salem. A cloudy bright orange-yellow, trace sparkle, finger-width rocky foam head with good retention and decent lacing. Aroma is strong perfume-y lemon, subtle white wine. Taste is strong lemon--a bit to the industrial cleanser side--with cracker backbone. Standard body, smooth, frothy texture, average-to-lively carbonation and crisp, dry finish with lingering yeast and light bitterness. Decent strength but the lemon seems a bit fabricated in both flavor and nose. OK.

16 oz can. A very pale yellow in appearance. Aroma is white baked bread and a soft herb nuance. Flavor so soft, florals, weak citrus, and soft tropical fruit. Overall, For a low ABV pale ale it has a lot of flavor. Yet, nothing mind shattering.

Canned 8/2/23, drunk 8/18/23. Heavily hazy, light, pale-golden. Large, white head, good retention. Nose is sulfury, with hints of white wine, juicy papaya, citrus and peppery spice. Crackery malts with a bit of deeper biscuit/white bread. Clean yeast, no alcohol or resin. Soft, juicy, sulfury and with excellent tropical fruit flavors. Good bitterness with a light body but not thin. Very drinkable with great hop balance and appropriate bitterness.
