Cask at GBBF 2016. It pours clear deep brown with a small white head. The aroma is toasted brown bread, quite savoury, toast and cereal. The taste is bitter - sweet, brown bread, rivita, cereal, coffee grounds and caramel with a dry, yet sweet finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. Ok mild, if forgettable.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear deep amber beer, good pale tan head. Tangy unsweet caramel malts. Tangy dried fruits. Trace of dark chocolate. Tangy finish. Why was it that Milds nearly went extinct again .....

Bottle. Blackish beer with a light head. The aroma is lightly bitter and roasted, and the flavour is gently bitter with coffee roastedness and a hint of maltiness. Over a reasonable mild. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
