Exilis is our Berliner Style Weisse brewed using a traditional 3 part decoction using the thin part of the mash for the final decoction. The hops are added during the first decoction. Unboiled, the beer then sits in the coolship overnight. The next day it is transfered to the open fermentation tank and pitched with some house yeast making this a semi spontaneously fermented ale.

This edition is matured in oak and is then blended with raspberries from Connecticut & Vermont.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
But actually since I just posted the review of Exilis, I'll just say this.

The raspberries add a nice eventful sweet and tart character to the aroma and the flavor; and the texture to me is basically the same as Exilis.

And I can get behind this beer too as the raspberries do not really change much of the base.

Can, undated, drunk 7/27/23. Mostly clear, rose. No head. Really nice lactic nose with raspberry giving bright juice but not touch acidity and no sugar. Even some funky barnyard in here, hell yeah. Tart, with soft, sumptuous, nutty wheat. Beautiful, mellowed cultures and well-macerated raspberries without any bit of aggressive acidity. Great mouthfeel and body. Love the extra funky barnyard.
