We partnered with our friends at Goldfinger, a lager brewery in Illinios, to create this Shankbier. With a shared interest in traditional European brewing, we wanted to brew this uncommon, low ABV, style of beer. Inpired by the Tom’s Polish roots we added hops from his family’s home country.

Brewery draught, 7/27/23. Clear, brassy-bronze. Medium-sized white head quickly fades to slight cover. Lovely mix of hops and yeast. Floral, herbal, pepper - all the good stuff. Cracker and toast from the malt with a crisp end. Clean. Cracker/biscuit provides a refreshing texture as herbal, floral hops add flavor without too much bitterness. Lean malts but appropriate for the gravity. Very clean with a snappy lager yeast finish. Bit of floral hop and biscuit lingering.
