Can to tulip.
Appearance: semi-dark amber to slight violet toned color with a thin white semi-foamy to fizzy head which quickly died off and didn't leave any lace
Aroma: semi-sweet to tart blueberry - slightly fleshy but some skin to them; then sly grassy hop spiciness with a touch of Belgian yeastiness
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas together fairly sweet yet spicy and a touch of tart & sour aspects as well; light aftertaste of the blueberries
Texture: light to medium bodied; between sessionable and being a sipper; not exactly smooth along the tongue - enough tart/sour harshness; finishes with the blueberry tart to sour to subtly sweet character
Overall: fairly nice blueberry sour ale, I believe I could come back to.

Draught at Painted Burro, 7/8/23. Minimally hazy, blueberry juice-violet. Small, blueberry-tinted head steadily to ring. Light lactic acidity, not punchy, rather mellow, accompanying lightly tart, fruity, well-expressed blueberry. Low malt, some cracker and maybe light wheat. Clean, no alcohol. Maltier than expected up front, pleasingly so, with good attenuation and a juicy blueberry character that isn't too acidic. Lactic acidity is mellow, not punchy/sharp. Surprisingly easy-drinking and mellow.

Pours a hazy amber with a thick white head. Some carbonation. Taste has lactic notes. Taste has sour fruity notes, stone fruits, figs. Palate has much of the same. Good.

16 oz. can dated (Smudged) 06-17-21. Aroma shows a bold character of Lactobacillus and moderate berry. The blueberry and the flavor is natural and organic. Honestly, quite bolder blueberry than I was expecting. Lactobacillus gives oak tannins with a earthy character. Nicely restrained. Not overly sour.

From a pint can. Pours a fairly clear orange gold with a small off white head. Aromas of blueberries and ether. Flavors are sour berries. Lingering sour finish.
