Reviewed from notes.
On tap at Foam Brewers.
This was poured into a stange.
Appearance: orange in color with a quarter finger of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: herbal/floral hops with a light clean cracker malt
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a semi-clean quality; finishes herbal and malty
Texture: between light and medium bodied, sessionable, some smoothness with a herbal flow to it, odd but hmmm...alright, I guess Foam is trying something different with this one?
Overall: not a German pils and not a Czech one either, this is one of those "modernized" pilseners that leave a lot of us scratching our heads thinking "Foam, what in the heck are you trying to do here?"
However, personally, I didn't mind this one for me, I have to admit.

16oz can pours a clear gold with some hazy white head. Nose has corn and grist, yeast, dough. Flavor is corn and grist and lemon and a little buttery bread. Finishes off dry. A little odd.

Canned 5/24/23, drunk 7/6/23. Clear, rose-tinged brass with a white head that immediately fizzles to ring. Wow, these Saaz smell an awful lot like tea. Really lovely tea, to be fair. With honey-like malts, seemingly nicely attenuated, backing it gently and producing a floral, tea-like, well-balanced, dainty nose with good cleanliness. Floral notes continue in to the flavor, with white bread-like malt, not so much the rich honey I'd hoped for. Not thin, yet not as deep as I'd hoped for either. Some interesting cidery notes, earth, black tea and hints of orange. Very unusual notes from traditional saaz - makes me think something else is going on here, yet I can't put my finger on it.
