Can to tall tulip.
Appearance: dark brown colored body with a finger's worth of tan foamy head, slowly dissipated to leave sly lacing
Aroma: rich nuttiness, dark bread, smooth maple, toast, some yeasty earthiness
Flavor: semi-sweet, roasty, toasty, maple and bready, quick aftertaste of the maple and the breadiness
Texture: smooth and rich, sweet but restrained enough to not be cloying, maple/nutty/bready finish
Overall: cool idea to reinvent an altbier and do it in a bigger way, I'd return to this!

Canned, 473 ml, courtesy of Travlr. Shared with him and others. Brown with beige head. Malty, caramel, toasted, maple, some sugar, sweetish. Bit watery towards the end. Interesting.

Undated can, thanks, Gene, drunk 7/3/23. Clear, medium-amber. Light beige head to ring. Maple and caramel, rich maltiness, some peppery maple fermentation character. Rich vanilla. Clean, no booze. Soft, malty, good attenuation. Very deep malting, very rich but just excellent attenuation. Wow, now Im immediately interested in trying more and going here.

16 oz can shared by travlr. Thank you. Aroma and flavor are the same has soft maple, dried leaves, dusty grain. Mildly sweet finish. Tasty.
Can from travlr thanks for the hookup. Mostly clear deep copper with a decent sized off white head that slowly dissipates Toady maple and caramelized sugar. Light earth to counter the sweetness. Odd combo but it works.
