Brewery draught, 7/1/23. Ruby-amber colored. Clear. Off-white head quickly falls to cover/ring. Nose is crystal malty. Iced tea, stale bread/stale crackers. Some light Belgian yeast with light pepper. Hints of orange rind. Clean. In the mouth it's completely ruined by the specialty malt. Why you would put that in a delicate grissette is beyond my wildest imagination. Iced tea, stale bread, caramel. Thin texture, as well, also made more possible by the specialty malt.

Draft at the source in a 4oz. taster glass. Clear ruby in color with some lasting head retention. Aroma is cherry skin, yeast, and grain.
The flavor shows the above mentioned cherry skins with a light yeast presence. The yeast’s main character is fruit and that is ok. The texture is grainy with the fruit lingering in the finish. Maybe a tad high in the malt department for the style. Overall, it is rather easy to drink.

4oz sample at the source. Mostly clear dark brown with a lightly bubbled white head that persists. Aromas of light caramel clove and spice. Flavor is sweet bready caramel, a bit too sweet imho for any Saison. Faint spicy clove and pepper flavor. Not a fan.
