In June, we sent organic wheat grown by our neighbors Seth and Jeannette Johnson at Morningstar Farm in Glover to Valley Malt to be malted. Then, with the personal assistance of the grower himself, Kevin Broderick, we hopped the beer with a trio of Centennial, Chinook, and Cascade hops from his Whitefield Hop Yard in nearby East Hardwick. The result is a buoyant, aromatic American pale ale that celebrates our neighbors and the fleeting season.

Pours hazy gold into willi. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving sheet lacing. Tangerine and passion fruit aromas. Soft with sweet tangerine and weed front to back. Dry, lasting finish.

Tip Tap draught 6/30/23. Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-pineapple. White head to cover. Sweat, mineral, sulfur, citrus. Lovely, clean, lightly juicy nose with cracker and white bread. Classic grapefruit, even. Soft, rich, chewy, but not sluggish texture with high attenuation and juicy hops ending on not too bitter grapefruit. Super deep maltiness, which is important bc there is an undercurrent of fairly bitter pine. Tons of flavor and maltiness for its size.

Pours a lightly hazy, golden lemonade color, with mid-sized head. Aroma is citrus, grass, some bread. Flavor is citrus, grass, a touch of spice, some pine-hops. Finish is bitter. Mouthfeel may be a bit thin, but otherwise, this isn't bad at all.

Can thanks to Russell. Pours a hazy gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and grass. Slick body, lemon zest, grass, light bitterness, very good.
