The vanilla and the chocolate really mellow out the bock maltiness, and does not drink like a 10%.

8oz can, dated 6/12/23, but I bought this a long time ago. So maybe a 6 month BB date? Anyways, I'm drinking it on 6/29/23. Clear chocolate-hazelnut. Tan head quickly to ring. Excellent acidity and plentiful mix of milk and cacao-like chocolate notes. Vanilla, fudge and light bready malts with clean finish and no alcohol noted. Roasted chocolate hulls, nutty cacao, good malt acidity and hints of dry yeast. Bit overcarbonated initially, needs swirling. Good attenuation, good malt texture. Pleasingly sweet and not syrupy. Swirled up some excellent mineral, earth, snappy yeast. Texture getting better, but wow, this is so carbonated. Another swirl session and it's a bit more rich and succulent. Still plenty cacao and acidity on the edges. Nicely done.
