The great pre GBBF bottleshare at ChrisO’s. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth but tangy dark malts, mild dark chocolate. Some spice. Dark chocolate gets dry and bitter on the close. Just another porter.

Bottle 33 cl. At 7.5% this should actually be listed as an Imperial Porter. Pours a dark, reddish brown with a beige head. Sweet chocolate roast, some vanilla. Solid body, bitter roastiness - a little harsh perhaps - again with chocolate and vanilla notes. And licorice. A fairly decent Porter. 070817

Bottle shared at Chriso’s and Ruth pre GBBF shindig, August 5, 2017. Pours hazy brown, quite flat actually. Flat nee with barley and light roast. Taste has more roast, some cocoa and overall dry and a bit boozy for some reason. Dry and roasty finish.

Flavour is composed of sweet, praline, woody bark, dried chocolate. Plate is semi sweet bark highish carbonation. Decent Porter.

Bottled. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and rye. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, prunes, and a bit of rye, leading to a dry roasted finish.
