This milk stout departs from the typical bitter roasted flavors associated with the style to leave a delicate beer with a creamy mouthfeel, a rich milk chocolate flavor dominating the palate and a slightly sweet finish.

Brown Iron draught, 6/8/24. Undetermined clarity. Dark mahogany. Massive, frothy, cocoa-tan head. Lactose and chocolatey-caramel malt character. Yet the lactose isn't bothersome. Good acidity and ample base malt. Nice and dry, with a medium-light body. Modest acidity, moderate lactose and very crusty, crunchy, roasted, chocolatey malts. But not too roasted, thankfully. Cleaner, shorter finish. Very polished and competent/well-done.

12 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Opaque black pour. Large frothy tan head. Roasted malt nose hints at chocolate and coffee. Flavor mirrors nose. Lacks the sweetness that is common for the style. Dry finish.
