In your hands, you have an intercontinental adjunct lager that pairs malt grown locally to us in New England with special Motueka grown on the South Island of New Zealand. Pouring a lovely yellow color into your glass, it carries notes of wispy malt, paired with a bright lemon and lime citrus character from the Motueka. It can easily fade into the background, or brighten your day if you pay special attention to it.

Doing a series of checkins featuring all the pint glasses I have accrued over the last 30 years. These are in no particular order. Went to Duclaw in Nov of 2018 with the Barley Legal Homebrew Club. That was a fun day.

Side pull at Tewks, 5/26/24. Pale lemon-lime-golden. Hint of haze. Snow white head atop. Fruity, very approachable, lime-lemon accented Motueka is round and bright with a bit of cracker and dainty honey from the malt. Clean. Full and round, with a creamy consistency and lots of body for its size. Lemony-juicy fruits, sweet gummies and light mango rind. Biscuit and a touch of creamed corn or cream of wheat. Easygoing, drinkable and flavorful. Clean.
