We brewed this Italian Pilsner as a toast to Vacationland Distributors on their 10th anniversary of artisan beer distribution in Maine. Featuring Floor Malted Pilsner malt from Blue Ox (Maine) and a combination of German Diamant and Saphir hops. Slightly hazy straw yellow, light herbal and lemon peel notes on the nose. Light bodied and effervescent with hints of citrus zest before a clean dry finish.

Brewery draught, 5/23/24. Pale golden-brass. Small, white head to cover. Rustic yeast with baked bread and tons of black pepper from the hop. Humm. Almost got a bit of peanut butter flavor. Very odd. Nutty malts with light sweetness, but not sure where the saltiness is coming from. Very light, very dry. A bit thinner on the malt than I'd prefer. Not very bitter. Unexpected. Interesting as always.

Pours pale, hazed gold into a shaker. Bright white head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Honey and straw aromas. Soft with sourdough, tart lemon and meadow front to back. Mild lemon joy and pith finish.
