Brewed in collaboration with Fox Farm from Salem, Connecticut, this special lager features hops from Champlain Valley Hops and malt from Vermont and Connecticut. Lemon, grapefruit peel and a light herbal note define the nose. Fresh hay and cracker malt character back up the hops in this landbier-style lager, while Emmer (Farro) contributes to its refreshing body.

Brewery draught, 5/23/24. Gentle haze. Bright lemon with a hint of brassy copper. Creamy, well-retained, white head. Yum. Fresh lemon and nutty, biscuity malts with heavy mineral character. Lots of fresh yeast. Hops not overdone. Is there a touch of vanilla here? Clean, sparkling, rushing mountain water. Lemon and pear with a bit of light kumquat rind. Biscuity up front with big textures. Very dry. Light mineral, crisp yeast on the finish with a bit of lemony hop lingering. You could accuse it of being a bit light on the malt sumptuousness, but the flavors are so unique and that nose is insane.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes to skim surface. Lemon and hay aromas. Crisp with sweet honey, hay and lemon zest front to back
