Bear With A Hint Of Honey is a rendition of our beloved Brown Ale with a judicious application of local wildflower and sourced orange blossom honey. Pouring a very dark brown color into your glass, it puts forth comforting notes of brown bread, dark candy, and mixed nuttiness with a pleasant and consistent impression of honey. Artful, simple beers are easy to overlook. We encourage you to enjoy Bear With A Hint Of Honey with a thoughtful palate and appreciate its intended subtleties

Charlton draught, 4/19/24. Deep, dark amber. Clear. Large, well-retained, tan head. Honey and caramel upfront leading to chocolate and graham cracker. Hints of molasses on the finish. Clean. Very nice attenuation, wow. Not a bit sweet but still nicely malty. Molasses, brown bread, toffee and spicy hops with lingering dark chocolate. Low bitterness but very well-balanced. Can't believe how much I like this...honey brown ale!

Pours a dark, brown-black, with smallish tan head. Aroma is roasted grain and nuts. Flavor follows, with a light sweetness (probably the honey). Smooth mouthfeel.
