Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Potbelly Tяotski ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, berries - blackcurrant, light to moderate roasted, wood notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, dark malt, blackcurrant, roasted - chocoalte, wood notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with hints of licorice and caramel. Roasted malty chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate and caramel finish.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Almost clear dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, fair bit of aniseed and licorice. Estery sweetness. More rich licorice. Ripe dried fruits. Semi dry finish. Notably licorice stout.

Cask at GBBF ’16, day one, 09/08/16. Light black topped with a decent tan head. Nose is fruit cake, liqourice, spice, treacle toffee, hint of varnish. Taste comprises liquid fruit cake, light chocolate, aniseed, liquroice, black pepper. Medium + body, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a boozy tickle. Not bad for a cask impy.

Sampled @ GBBF day 1. Opaque dark brown to black color, average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweet liquorice influences, caramel, light to moderately chocolate. Decent body and carbonation.

Cask handpull at GBBF 2016. Black beer lasting tan head. liquorice aniseed. Quite entertaining but not done well. Dry just liquorice and aniseed.

Gbbf. Schwarze Farbe. Geruch nach dunklem Malz, schokoladig, Melasse, Gewürze. Geschmack kräftig malzig, rote Früchte, holzig.

61 Cask at the GBBF 2016... Dark black... Thin tan lacing... Dark roast malts.. Chewy chocolate roast malts nose.. Deep rich chocolate... Big licorice
