Our global beer ambitions have us touring a world of flavor with this Destination Pilsner Project. For this trip, we’re heading to the tiny island nation with big hop flavors – New Zealand. Our hop selection is exclusive from NZ and compliments a crisp and biscuity pilsner with crushed citrus and grape flavors.

Draft at brewpub post rock climbing. Lighter gold pour and fine white head. Nose is fruity. Tastes of stone fruits, grass, melon. Soft texture. Flavorful finish. Very mild overall could use some zip.

Draught at the brewery, 3/28/24. Clear brass-blonde-golden. Small, white head quickly to ring. Vaguely tropical, fruity, lightly juicy, mild, not super aromatic; certainly not what one expects from a NZ hopped beer. Clean and fruity, light. Pretty vague and just sorta there. Nothing wrong with it, and it's clean and there's ample body. But it's not crisp, snappy or overly hoppy. Nothing interesting. Whatever hopping technique was used here did not succeed.
