A truly global beer born from a collaboration with World Honey Exchange to showcase Tanzanian products and culture. Crafted primarily with millet and aged in bourbon barrels, this ale holds miombo woodland honey from Katavi and vanilla beans harvested in the hills of Kagera & Kilimanjaro. Expect rich aromas of molasses and caramel, a surprisingly delicate body, and dry finish. Drink fresh or cellar.

CX draught, 3/28/24. Clear dark amber. Small, beige head clips at edges. Soft, rich, gently bourboned with rich, rich, soft, deep vanilla for days. Fruity yeast, bit of biscuit and light honey. No booze. Honey-like pepper with biscuity, fruity, millet. Bourbon and vanilla linger and build on the finish, with spicy acidity from honey, I assume. Very, very highly attenuated. A bit too much so. The texture lacks comfort/depth, unfortunately. Clean and no booze with good bourbon and vanilla character but it just needs a better malt backbone to bring out the flavors more.
