Brewery draught, 3/15/24. Clear copper-amber. Small, off-white head to spotty cover quickly. Fruity with big unabashed crystal malt. Kinda respect on the pure crystal malt character here. Spice, tea and grass from hop with more big fruity ester. Soft with moderate base malt character fending off huge crystal malt. I gotta say, this is kinda cool how little this beer cares. Just caramel, pine, iced tea and resin with crystal malt paperiness galore. And yet it's pretty malty, soft and balanced.

Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt pale muddy orange color. Sly little white foamy head quickly dissipates and leaves a slight lace.
The aroma had some pale malts weaving into a biscuit/bready maltiness. Grassy hops hit against some tobacco leafiness and then a subtle floral quality with a slight leathery dryness.
The flavor performs with the previously mentioned aromas with a slight cereal sort of taste running in for a nice balance. Sly floral to tobacco and malty aftertaste with the same sort of finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a slight sessionability about it. Moderate carbonation. Good ABV - naturally felt.
Overall, everything is on par for this American brewer to create a good EPA that I could have again, preferably with some fish n’chips.
