WILD LICHT BIER MET LOKALE TETTNANG
Een picknick in het gras op een zorgeloze namiddag, de zon hoog aan de hemel, je blote voeten wroeten tussen de sprietjes. Zachtjes dommel je weg op het gezoem van een honingbij die van bloem tot bloem gaat, dan hoor je een vogel opgewonden kwetteren in de bosrand. Een beestje kriebelt op je huid, een afgebroken takje prikt in je zij. Een verdwaalde dauwdruppel houdt koppig vast aan het gras, de wind draagt de zoete geur van hooi van een naastgelegen boerderij.
Weide drink je op een warme dag, wanneer een fris en droog bier de beste verkoeling biedt. Dit bier is bijzonder licht en toch spannend vanwege de landelijke aroma’s van de wilde gisten. De Spalter Select dryhop van onze lokale hopboer geeft subtiele grassige toetsen, terwijl de speltmout en ongemoute tarwevlokken voor een zacht, cremig mondgevoel zorgen. Weide is licht in alcohol en daardoor prettig doordrinkbaar, met een mooie en zachte complexiteit. Drink Weide niet bij zware gerechten of samen met stevige bieren, want hij is vooral bedoeld als lichte dorstlesser of als aperitief.

37.5cl Bottle from Bierhut. Batch #2, 4%, Hallertau Blanc. Hazy pale golden colour, white head. Aroma of a soft Gueuze, funky, light acidic, Brett, lemon, grapes. Flavour is light malty, light tart, lemon, light acidic, grapes, soft bitterness, dry. Light bodied. Easy, tasty.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata torbida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso note delicatamente citriche ed erbacee. In bocca è moderatamente acidula, secca, pulita, beverina. Corpo esile, carbonazione medio-bassa. Buona.

Bottled 19.04.2018. light yellow hazy color, medium big white head. smells belgian yeasty, earthy, grassy, musty, lightly citric. nice smell. light body, pearly carbonation. tastes citric, grassy, earthy, bit flowery, belgian yeasty, herbal, thyme, light lemon grass, spices, peppery. finishes medium dry with notes of herbs, grass and some belgian yeasty notes. quite nice one, good to drink.

Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Yellow fruit, wild yeast funk. Taste: Medium bitterness, Moderate sweet and very lightly sour. Wheat, hay. Stone fruit, funky wild yeast notes, subtle herbal and floral notes, white pepper hints. Medium to below medium body, just below average carbonation. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle at home, Batch #2. Sinterklaas Go Home!! Tasting. Unclear pale yellow with massive white head. Sweet malts, hay, wheat, hopflowers, dough, yoghurt, mild spices, coleslaw, light lemon fruity and dandelion floral, bretty blanket. Moderate sweet and bitter, delicious tart notes. Medium body and quite some bubbly carbonation. A bit watery in the aroma’s here and there but at the same time a very easy drinking and very nice (table) beer with an old world farmhouse feel.

Ziarniste zbozowe i cytrusowe w smaku. Ale tylko cytryny i skorka z cytryny. Wytrawne gorzkie. Bardzo aromatyczne i pachnace piwo ze srednia piana opadajaca w srednim uplywie czasu. Jasna zlocista barwa. Po dolaniu kolejnego kieliszka robi sie nieco metnawa piaskowa barwa. Stylowa i oszczedna etykieta. Skromnie i fajnie smakowo, niski poziom alkoholu sprawia ze jest pijalne w bezwietrzne upalne lato
