TCBW2025. Hazy golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is tart fruits, some citrus, mild funk and some lemongrassy tones. Flavour is funk, some fruity, citrusy, mild wooden earthy and lemongrassy tones. Nicely dry palate, but still very refreshing beer.

Sample at Shelter pours a mostly clear gold with some swirling white head. Candy and lemon and some barrel on the nose. A little buttery. Some plastic. Plastic amps in the mouth and it's clearly new world, Brett B, candy, pineapple comes on strong. Fuller bodied than you'd expect.

Cellar draught, 2/13/24. Clear bright blonde-golden. Small layer of white foam. Beautifully expressive Brett in the nose backed by gentle oak and malt (honey, biscuit). There's some light lime zest from the Brett, as well as a bit of hickory/walnut fruit skin, with a fair bit of acidity overall. Soft, malty, with ample wood tannin providing additional texture. Lemons, limes, light guava, moderate-to-heavy tartness for Brett. Honey-like malt and oak help soften the massive Brett character. It's not quite as refined or delicate as, say, Orval, but then few are.
