The Plato scale is a measurement of the density of liquid. The number tells brewers how big or small a resulting beer will be—the larger the number the bigger the beer. We designed 11.5° Plato—a lower number on the beer scale—to give us just enough body to support a heavy heap of hops. The result is an easy-drinking session IPA which satisfies the thirst for hops, but urges you to have another round.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A light fruity nose. The flavor is medium bitterness, floral, toasted pils malt. Solid.

Pkgd 05/23/16.
This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a burnt/bronzed golden orange to brown color with a finger and a half of concave fluffy white foamy head. The pace of dissipation was nice and even. Light rings of foam.
The smell had bitter grapefruit rind with a light pulp/pith - like slick - ness to it. Light citrus hops bounce in for a decent balance.
The flavor starts bitter and then becomes bittersweet. Semi-sticky aftertaste. Subtle dry sweet quick finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly light allowing hoppy bitterness to bite on my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good session IPA. I would have again.

Keg at BD Soho. It pours clear amber with a medium off-white head. The aroma is freshly cut grass, toasted grain, lemongrass, grapefruit and bread. The taste is crisp, bitter, toasted grain, cereal, grapefruit, pithy lemon, lemongrass, pine and some spice. The finish is firm and dry. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Very moreish.

12oz bottle. A pretty decent example of the style. On the lighter side of medium bodied, still has some malt character, resinous piny hops. Not really my thing. OK.

On tap at P&P Charleston. Clear bright golden with small/white head. Aroma is nice herbal hops, light body, medium/light carbonation, and good thin lacing. Taste is herbal hops and slightly bitter dry finish.

12 oz bottle from the summer variety pack. Aroma is celery, latex, citrus. Pours slightly hazy gold with a lacy white head with decent retention. Taste is highly bitter with light citrusy flavors. Body is thin. Not bad.

Draft. It pours a clear light orange/gold color with a frothy, off white head. The aroma is citrusy with some orange, grapefruit, some light honey notes and florals. The flavor is light bodied and lightly floral with oranges. Some lightly toasted malt and floral bitterness. Clean. Decent, but unexciting.
