Bottle split at Chris & Ruths pre GBBF Shin Dig, cheers for all the shares, 05/08/17. Golden copper with a decent off white covering. Nose is caramel, bitter orange, toasted grains, straw. Taste comprises orange pith, airy malts, melon, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Passable session number - lacks hop bite and a touch simplistic.

Bottle at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours clear golden – amber with a small white head. The aroma is fresh, fruity, toasted grain, quite perfumed, cereal and orange peel. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, toasty grain, orange peel, tangerine, floral vibe and a touch metallic. Light – medium body and fine carbonation. Simple, but enjoyable enough.

The great pre GBBF bottleshare at ChrisO’s. Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth floralness. Decent orange and tangerine citrus. Little orange peel. Light dry finish. Satisfying SIPA.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a dense and lively white head. Slightly citrusy nose, but fairly subtle. Lightish body, very soft on the palate, dry and hoppy finish. Very easygoing and pleasant. 150317

Bottle, thx to Cunningham. It’s a lightly hazy golden colored beer with a dense, two-finger off-white head. The aroma is sort of subtle, with pine cones, grass and a good dash of caramel-ish malts. It’s full-bodied, a tad heavy on the carbonation, still rather creamy, and semi-dry. Pine cones, grass and some grapefruit dominates the flavor, there’s some caramel-ish, bread crust-like malt flavors, and a very good bitterness. Some cheesy notes, which I guess might be due to the fact that it’s pushing the best before date. Long piney, grassy finish. Guess this one would’ve been more interesting when fresh, but it’s still a quite decent beer. Especially like the bitterness, which many session IPA’s don’t have enough of. 161222
