A refreshingly clean tasting golden ale with aromas of citrus fruits and grapefruit, and a smooth malt balance complemented by subtle bitterness.

Cask at Moon under Water, Wigan. Pours a slightly hazy solid gold with a small foamy almost white head and excellent lacing. Is slow to settle but does so eventually. The aroma is mainly floral hops with hints of melon and passion fruit. In the mouth it is quite sweet but with a little underlying bitterness. Flavour has floral hops, tropical fruit, citrus and oranges, with a hint of spice coming later. Finish is slightly dry. This is reasonable.
