Reviewed from notes.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a finger's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet cinnamon-y to chocolatey to molasses-like whiffs with some brown sugar, vanilla and maple tones underneath
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a variety of different sweet qualities; finishes a bit sticky with the molasses to maple tones
Texture: medium bodied, slightly sessionable; some smoothness but also a bit of stickiness - nothing cloying to me but the stickiness is noticeable - just not distracting
Overall: pretty good for the most part, I think I could still return to this beer despite a touch of stickiness to it.

Soy sauce, maple syrup, vanilla aroma. Cola black, thin tan head. Syrup, soy sauce. Medium body, easy carbonation

Canned 11/1/23, drunk 12/14/23. Mostly clear, dark mahogany. Small, light tan head sits at light cover. Nose is a good amount of maple, lactose, chocolatey malts and minimal cinnamon. Not boozey. Sweet, not horrifically-so, but still sweet enough that I'm glad I just had two sips and didn't have to drink a whole can. Lactose seems unnecessary, as usual. The already rich malts and frickin maple syrup need some....let's see...milk sugar. No, don't think so. Wish there was more dryness and even wish there was more cinnamon. Does taste like french toast, though.

Pours an okay dark brown, low effervescence and essentially no head outside of the slightest of rings on the edge of the glass. Nice roasted malt aroma, along with some brown sugar. Similar flavor, was hoping for some more vanilla and perhaps cinnamon or maple but essentially a sweeter, non-BA version of Framinghammer. Pretty good beer.
