Our single hopped American blonde ale where we rotate a new hop in for each batch. This time around we used a new and exciting hop out of New Zealand, called Superdelic. Hazy, fruity and dangerously drinkable, Superdelic imparts refreshing notes of ripe mango and sweet berries.

Canned 11/14/23, drunk 12/13/23. Moderately hazy, blonde-golden-brass. Small, white head, well-retained. Nose has plentiful sulfur, if not as much as this year's Riwaka (what does?). Then some tropical fruit a la Motueka followed by lime and gooseberry on the finish. Cracker malts with a pinch of honey. Dainty and balanced. Juicy, soft, malty, with good honey and plentiful tropical fruit. Not as much sulfur in the flavor, but a good chew to it. Substantial and highly flavorful for its size with a similar character to Motueka, though a bit more bitterness and gooseberry/lime. Lovely.
