The fruity, spicy, floral hop aromas lead to a full, rich, almost light fruit cake middle palate, ending with a clean dry bitter finish.

33cl bottle from M&S, Camberley. A pale amnber pour with a tight white head; floral aroma; full bodied with a peppery taste, alight grassy bitterness; and a dry peppery finish. A solid IPA.

Very mildly bitter, earthy. Not overly exciting but ok. Not too bad but not special

Cask gravity at the London drinker beer fest 2017. A clear golden orange coloured pour with loose white halo. Aroma is sweet, grassy, garbage, tangy apple, esters. Flavour is composed of rough grains, pear and apple, esters.. Signs of a stressed ferment. Palate is semi sweet and tangy sour apple, woody. Pretty bad.,

Bottle at home, 30/01/17. Copper golden with a decent off white head that quickly dissipates to a swirl mid glass. Nose is caramel, straw, light orange peel, biscuit, grains. Taste comprises sweet citric peel, light fruit candy, caramel, toasted bread, grains, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with vague hop bitterness. Pedestrian at best barely pulling off the drive let alone getting out of first gear, akin to a ESB with more boost and sweetness.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Drinker’s Paradise. Pours perfectly clear orange-gold with a creamy white head. The aroma holds bready malts, ripe and jammy citrus, caramel. Medium sweet flavour with more jammy citrus, berries, lightly toasted sugars, subtle piney bitterness, a little grass. Medium bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Sugary finish, with ample bready malt character, soft toffee, more jammy citrus fruits, faint earth and pine, hints of alcohol. Quite basic overall. Just drinkable.
