Just off-golden coloured body with a very small, single centimetre tall pure white head and very little else - a few bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of grain, light yeast, a touch of wheat and a very mild hop and sugar component - fairly mild throughout in all respects. Light to Medium-bodied; Very subdued malt and yeast component with the grain and very mild hop flavours that really show no bitterness, just a herbal and grassy flavour at the end. Aftertaste is mild and grainy with the yeast and some bread-based flavours, I suppose. Overall, a pretty subuded beer throughout with a more pronounced yeast and grain flavour that shows some decent flavours, but again - mild throughout and producing nothing truly exciting. I suppose this is an interesting take and something different, but if this was executed flawlessly, simply an experiment I never wanted to try. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Bryant Park), New York on 30-November-2018 for US$2,99 sampled on the streets of New York at Christmas a few minutes later on 30-November-2018.

Bottle at LHR (with mandatory meal) No idea how it looks like, but tastes fair. No fireworks but fits the purpose and goes well down to belly.

Bottle at home, from my wife, 11th March 18. Pours filtered clear and light orange. Aroma is malty, biscuit, citrus. Taste is bitter and light citrus, quite malty. Drinks like a EPA or light Bitter. OK, but forgettable.

Bottle at home. A big, bad and hairy chested English style pale ale that was drunk alongside and perfectly complemented a spicy pizza. A dark colour in the glass and a big malt and bitter hops flavour that was very well balanced. It easily held its own against the food and slipped down a treat.

Bottle from Waitrose. Appearance - golden Nose - lemon and butterscotch. Taste - sweet lemon lozenges. Struck match sulphur thing. Palate - close to medium bodied. Tangy but cloying. Overall - too sweet and cloying really.

Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light caramel, astringent maltiness. Taste is astringent too. I like the sentiment, but I don't like this as a drink. No hop character and an unpleasant sulphury aftertaste.
