One year ago we received the devastating news that our friend and colleague, Cameron Crown, passed away. Grief and healing is not a linear process. In many ways we are still mourning the loss. A year later, we are choosing to remember Cam by releasing a beer in his honor, called Lil' Cammie's Cream Ale. Because even though we're a lager-only brewery we decided the best way to honor Cam's larger-than-life persona was with a beer style that bends the rules, just like he did.
Proceeds from this beer will be donated to the Cameron Crown Memorial Scholarship.

Brewery draught, 10/11/24. Clear, paler blonde. Small, white head quickly to ring. Malty nose with honey and cracker notes. Bit of paper, celery and mild lemon/herb. Malty up front with a big burst of honey. It dries severely with a papery character and lots of seltzer and light celery seed. But that's just sort of part of the yeast, I imagine. Clean and dry otherwise.

Pours a light straw from a can. Lemon grassy aroma and flavor, very crisp. Good beer.
