**Disclaimer** This is a festbier and not a marzen, hence the light hue and lack of caramel notes. Brewed to the likeness of traditional German festbier...
Festbier is our take on Germany’s beloved style served annually during Bavaria’s multi-week Oktoberfest. You will find our interpretation imparts crackery notes of bread and mild sweetness, accompanied by a soft mouthfeel, and delivering high drinkability. We were excited to brew this beer and we are even more excited to share it with you now!

16 ounce can from Tavour. Medium gold pour. Large, frothy white head. Bready malt aroma. Sweet bready malt flavor upfront. Hints of lemon and crackers. Herbal hops add a restrained spiciness on the backed. Dry, peppery finish.

Canned 7/26/24, drunk 10/6/24. Clear brass-peach with a hint of copper. Large, white head, well-retained. Soft, aromatic, floral dry hop with a good cleanliness overall, mineral water and a hint of cracker/biscuit malt. Maybe the water+dry hop but it smells like a fruity yeast, which can't be the case. Maltier than expected from the nose with a honey-atop-toasted-cracker character that is soft/supple, rich and moderately sweet, drying out nicely and counterbalanced by a softly floral, gently bitter hop character. Again, lacking in the yeast character/snappiness/crispness that I want from a lager, especially of this style. It just sort of fades to vagueness on the finish with the hops adding the only (minimal) crispness/acidity to the beer.

16 ounce can. Aroma is light toast, cracker malt and a bit of flowery hops in there as well. Flavor is mostly some sweet bread, a bit of toast, and a very little bit of hoppiness.
