Blonde is a classic Belgian-style blonde ale brewed with Belgian base malt and select Stryian Golding hops. It is fermented with the second generation yeast from our Belgian Quad, and then bottle conditioned for months to peak maturity and texture. We taste Belgian yeast, toasted bread, lemon, and honey with a gentle body and crisp carbonation. Classic and dutifully executed, this may be enjoyed for several months as it continues to improve and evolve.

Pours a lightly hazy, pale copper-gold, with minimal head. Aroma is bread, malt, some fruit, light clove. Flavors largely follow. Clean, crisp mouthfeel.

Charlton draught, 9/26/24. Deep, copper-tinted blonde-golden. Small, white head, slowly to edges. Fruity Belgian yeast showing light clove, apple, and light pepper. Nothing crude. Biscuity malts balance. Clean. Clove-accented red fruits with hints of honey and marmalade. Good malt depth with good attenuation. Clean. Lingering honey, bread, biscuit, pepper. Elegant and well-structured as their Belgians usually are.
