10/05/2025 Sample at Palace Hall, Malmö May tasting - sweet and roasted dark malty, nice silky smooth chocolate, some toffee and caramel sticky malts, full bodied, rich bourbon laced dark sweet malty close. Lovely.

Area Four draught, 9/24/24. Dark with dark chestnut highlights, clear I think. Large, nicely-retained, tan head. Rich and oaky with dark chocolate and mellow but apparent bourbon depth. Vanilla, fudge and low roast, low alcohol. Soft, rich, with hugely spicy bourbon and low but chewy-sweet lactose-infused body. Good depth, drying out somewhat on the finish with oak and spice. The bourbon and milk chocolate/fudge character balance each other nicely. Lingering oaky acidity but no booze or excessive sweetness.

Pours a thick, oily black, with minimal head. Aroma is bourbon, dark fruit, coffee, chocolate. Flavor follows. Very sweet, though not cloyingly so. The ABV is well-hidden (no alcohol burn in the flavors or aroma). Very smooth and soft mouthfeel.
