Undated can from the cooler, drunk 9/23/24. Lightly hazy, copper-amber-brass. Large, white head atop, well-retained. Not a ton of aroma. Grass and light juice mix together with biscuity, crackery malts behind it. Not much brightness or comforting malt or juicy hop. Clean, from what I can tell, though. Softer mouthfeel with expansive carbonation and moderate maltiness. Good attenuation. Sharp, grassy bitterness is odd, not to-style. I get wanting to give some solid bitterness to a style that is woefully underbittered, but this isn't the way to do it. The palate does accustom to it, somewhat. Doughy, mushy malts remain adding honey and white bread. Vague fruitiness from the rather unexpressive hops. Again, it's clean, drinkable and competent, but just a bit lackluster in the hop category and the grassy bitterness isn't doing much for it, either.

Can (no date but fresh ~ 7/25/20) pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Appearance is deeply hazy golden yellow with fine particulate mist, decent sparkle, finger-plus width foamy white head with excellent retention and very nice leggy lacing. Aroma is lemon citrus and resin. Taste is predominantly bitter resin with lesser citrus and cracker malt backbone. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, fairly thick texture, soft-to-average carbonation and crisp, dry, mostly bitter finish. Overall, more hazy than juicy as this reminds me more of the beers that started the transition from West Coast bitter bombs to NEIPA juice bombs. The look is not as thick as a Trillium or Tree House but is still pretty nice as is the mouthfeel. But the aroma and taste are not where NEIPA are right now and are barely fruity. Some nice features and I will be interested in sampling more from this brewer.

Fresh 16 oz. can. The appearance is correct. Aroma is very weak fruit with a little bit of malt. I get nondescript fruit with a little bit of herb. Some balancing sweet malt. As it warms , it gets Progressively bitter. To be positive I will say that it doesn’t have any flaws. However, really misses the mark for the style.

Crowler from the source. Hazy murky lemon yellow with a thick bubbly white head that persists. Citrus earthy pine and light fruit on the nose Flavor follows the aroma. Pretty tasty IPA from way up in the north country.
