An easy drinking traditional copper coloured English ale. Roasted barley and cara malt give this a fruity taste and a pleasant citrus finish.

16th June 2012: hand pulled pint in the excellent ‘Crown’, Beeston. This pub majors on Leatherbritches beers and this is the one I started with. Dark brown body with a thin off-white head, the nose and taste were malt dominated, toffee being the flavour I got both in the aroma and taste. The body just about held the beer together and the finish became a tadge bitter as the mouth dried. OK and a pleasant start to my evenings drinking.
