Bottle. Not black but reddish-brown. Potent, with a clear mix of darker malts and tropical fruit.

Bottle, Wallasey Food Fair. A new brewery on me. Deep dark brown pour with a fast fading tan head. Nose had notes of brown sugar, cardboard, cola, ash and roast. Lively carbonation/mouthfeel. Flavour was a bit lacking in fruity hop with some roast, dark fruit and emerging earthy bitterness. Ok, just.

Tasting at Bruce’s pad. Opaque black - brown beer. Good pale tan head. Palate is airy and dry and crisp. Mildly tangy dark malts. Hops are a good sherbet citrus, lemon dominating. Floral hops. Light airy finish. Very nice zingy hops here.

Bottle split at Bruce’s Pad, thanks to Kenny, 04/11/14. Dark mahogany brown with a decent tan covering. Nose is light pine, sweet tunes, brown sugar, caramel, light plastic. Taste comprises tropical fruit notes, bitter orange, pine, a touch more plastic, earthy cocoa rub. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness. Ok CDA, lower end but ticks the boxes.
