Brewery draught, 7/14/24. Chill-hazed, lemony-golden. Small, white head quickly to spotty cover. Fruity lemon lime and mild tropical is front and center from the Motueka, but the mixed yeast culture is not overshadowed. Pepper, apple, plaster, must...really lovely, interesting blend of Blaugies and light Dupont notes. Biscuity, rustic grains balance gently. Wow! Soft, malty, rich and deep textures drying out nicely on the finish with excellent yeast and hop-derived acidity. The Motueka really complements the yeast lending even more fruitiness. Pepper, plaster, cellar must, very light Brett. Yeast is front and center here, as it should be, with comforting malt textures and a pleasing fruit and bitterness from the hop.
