This IPA is released in celebration of the opening of the Headroom Hi-Fi Lounge at our Fort Point location. Pouring the color of light straw, Vacuum Tubes is hopped with a blend of Citra and Motueka hops, which impart notes of grapefruit, lemon, and lime; on the palate, Vacuum Tubes is lightly sweet with a light-to-medium bitterness.

Panda thanks to Wingman. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a touch thin and a touch dry. Decent fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, a light creamy sweetness. Hops bring light cooling pine into a candyish lemon and lime vibe. Hop spice starts to bite. Light finish. The basis of a good IPA here but, the delivery feels a bit limp wristed.

Nose is bitter tropicana, grass, raw pineapple, grapefruit, melon.
Taste comprises dank chimes, grass, bitter orange, grapefruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with grassy come danko hop bitterness.
Okay DIPA ... seems a little tired.

Tap at While Foods in Santa Clara. Slushy greyish yellow with small, dense head. Restrained fruit aroma. Slightly more in flavor. A bit thin on mouthfeel. Meh.

Turbid dark golden white color. OJ, passionfruit and Apricots jump out of the nose. Light body, fairly juicy, but drier and less dank than I would want. Body is lacking a bit. Medium carbonation. Low medium bitterness. Fairly drinkable. Doesnt take me anywhere special, but perfectly fine.

Pours murky light gold into a plastic cup. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving trailing sheets. Mango and pineapple aromas. Soft with sweet mango and passion fruit front to back. Lasting dusty finish.

Fort Point draught, 7/8/24. A better showing than a lot of their non-collab IPAs of late. The Motueka is playfully fruity and lightly bitter. No harsh, pithy, chalky bitterness and at least a semblance of a malty texture.

Pours a hazy, lemon yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is citrus and some tropical fruit. Flavors follow. Soft, though maybe a touch thin, mouthfeel. Moderate hop bitterness in the finish.
