Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a quickly dissipating finger's worth of eggshell white foamy head, barely any lace
Aroma: sweet milk chocolate, roasty coffee beans, subtle vanilla, dark bread
Flavor: sweet mostly throughout, some roastiness rides in for balance, mild sweet chocolate and roasty aftertaste
Texture: medium bodied, between being a sipper and being sessionable, chocolatey and semi-roasty finish
Overall: it's like a cross between an oatmeal stout and a pastry stout, it's one I would return to.

Brewery draught, 7/5/24. Dark, clear, tan head, low retention. Very roasty with excellent sweet chocolate chip cookie character. Clean and inviting. Soft, rich, easygoing with excellent malt depth, cookies, raisins, chocolate and lingering malt/acidity balance. The acidity, yet not over-roasted acidity, steals the show, balancing the soft, rich choco-caramel.
