4 oz draft at the brewery. Crystal clear Golden color. Flavor is mild honey malt with a hint of some sort of yeast. Doesn’t remind me of German Cole Sheese at all thinner body..

Brewery draught, 7/5/24. Clear golden. White head steadily to ring. Doesn't smell very kolsch like. Though it's clean, lightly malty, a bit of spicy hop. Clean malts, low but ample hop. More pale or blonde ale. Not getting much kolsch yeast.

From my brother: pours deep gold with a white head. Aroma is light fruitiness, bread. Taste is on the sweeter side of kolsch. Mild hoppiness. Basic fruitiness. Good for what it is.

This was poured into a stange.
The appearance was a semi-hazy / semi-burnt bronzed orange color with a slim white little head that dissipated at a nice pace. Carbonation could be seen rising at a nice pace. Semi-foamy bubbly lacing roamed around the glass.
The smell took on a dried sweet corn, light sweet lemon.
The taste was basically the same with the dry sweet corn aftertaste running into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionable feel.
Overall, as a kolsch, this one works. Hogback did another fine job for this style!
