Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Offbeat Lemon Squash ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, lemon, burnt, plastic - burnt plastic, ash. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, burnt, ash, plastic, sweet malt, ash tray. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160809] 5-3-4-3-8

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Light haze on this pale gold beer, a few white bubbles. Light palate, semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Mild lemon bitterness. Light floral mid. Some farmyard. Light dry finish. Wishy washy and a little wonky.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2016. Poured a hazy straw colour with an average sized white head. Has a bitter lemon aroma, some hop evident but not especially nice. Light sweetness, heavier bitterness, slightly sour. Body light and texture thin. One of our festival low points.

Cask handpull at GBBF 2016. Hazy pale gold lasting white head. some harsh lemon juice some mineral sulphur not great.

Gbbf. Fast klare goldene Farbe. Geruch nach hellem malz, wässrig, leicht nussig. Geschmack mild zitronig, wässrig, trocken, uninteressant.

Cask at GBBF day 3 11/08/2016. A translucent yellow straw coloured pour with a a lasting fine white head. Aroma is earthy farmyard, little smoke, farmyard. Rough grains. Flavour is composed of farmyard straw, lemon rind, straw, rough earthy grains. Palate is grainy, moderate carbonation, rough round the edge. Decent.

Sampled @ GBBF day 1. Slightly hazy yellow golden color, small to average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, indeed some lemon, citrus, citrussy hoppy but only lightly. Moderate bitter finish. Ok beer.
