Okay beer, a bit modern, not really even a quad in any classical sense. Just boozy. Guild box

Can thanks to mark. It pours hazy very dark brown with a frothy khaki head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, rather fruity, raisin, sultana, festive spice, clove, prune, date, fruit cake, bit of cabdi sugar, splash of coke and cola cubes. The taste is slick and thick, oily, fatty, fairly punchy sweetness, toasty brown sugars, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, toasted fruit cake, some toasty spice, clove rock, brown bread, earth, dry oak, cola, touch of toffee, burnt toast and some boozey warmth with a slick, oily finish. Very full body, limited carbonation and super oily mouth feel. Too thick and oily for the style I. My opinion. Nice elements to it, but give me a la trappe quad any day over this.

Can. Color: Very dark brown, going towards black. Light brown head. Aroma: Dark fruit, dark malt, caramel. Taste: Sweetish, sugary, molasses, smooth, creamy, dense and sticky mouthfeel, dark dried fruit, raisins, caramel fudge, dark malt, hints of nuts. Over medium to full body, below average carbonation. Over medium sweet, moderate carbonation. Ok but a bit too sticky for me.
