Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2016, day 1 - London. Pours clear yellow with a foamy, white head. Nice one, with notes of light ginger, hay, pale bread. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Balanced finish. Good-drinking gold.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2016, Great [ British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Downton Flaming Games ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a small average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, spicy, ginger, light flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, biscuit malt, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160809] 5-3-6-3-11

Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty spicy grassy aroma. Fruity malty spicy grassy flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy grassy grainy finish.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, bubbly white head. Thin palate, modest fine carbonation. Light malts. Floralness that turns bitters. Repressed citrus. Dry floral finish. A bit tedious.

Sampled @ GBBF day 1. Hazy pale yellow color, small to average sized white head. Smell and taste malts, quite some herbs and spices, lightly sweet, lightly bitter in the aftertaste. Average body and carbonation. Don’t like it, too much herbs and spices in it.
