Obviously made up of similar DNA but this big daddy is a tricky one to handle! A mass amount of American hops are used to create this DIPA and then to finish with double dry hop additions. Crisp bittering with intense amounts of resinous, citrus & grapefruit aromas. Trust me you wouldn’t like to get on the wrong side of Big Daddy.

Blond colour with light haze. Aroma and flavour are hoppy with yellow fruits. Nice dry finish.

Really bitter and dry. Loads of late hops. Amped-up hops but too much. Needs some balance but there is potential

Gravity cask at the 2018 Leicester Beer Festival. Deep golden, slightly hazy with a ring of white head. Delicious aroma of pink grapefruit peel. Bittersweet taste, very well balanced. Grapefruit bitter hop rests neatly on the tongue for the long finish. Sleek, oily body. An excellent cask IPA.
