Black with a lasting tan head. Aroma of chocolate and liquorice, with a strong note of cinnamon. Sweet roasted flavour with (too much) cinnamon.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a creamy and lacing, light brown head. Roasty nose with an odd tart edge to it. Rich, plummy rather than roasty, and again tart rather than sweet. Luckily the cinnamon is only a vague hint. I fear there's a lurking contamination in here. 030321

Bottled. A black beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of caramel, roasted malt, dark chocolate, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of lactose, cinnamon, dark chocolate, prunes, and roasted malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Black, light brown head. Choc and light roast aroma, hardly any cinnamon fortunately. Sweet flavour, chocolate, a little caramel and a hint of cinnamon which really does not disturb that much other than lending a bit of warmth to the finish.

Draught @ the brewpub, Fanø. Pours cloudy nearly black with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, drid fruit and barrel, with notesbof chocolate. Bitter, roasty and coffeelike flavour with notes of hops and lactose and chocolate and touches of yeast and barrel. Roasty and chocolatey aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. Well-balanced and very much enjoyable. A nice one.
