Bottled at 11.5% (09/12/17). It pours clear orangey copper with no head to speak of. The aroma is oily and unctuous, big vanilla hits you, then in comes the rum, sweet and tangy, brown sugar, dried fruits, fruit cake, warming ginger spice, gingerbread, lime peel and marmalade. The taste is pretty drying and toothy upfront, wood and tannin, big hit of rum, a slap of warming booze, candied ginger, fairly raw, hint of solvent, lime, spice, dried fruits and leather. Finish is warming and full of woody tannin. Medium+ body and (unfortunately) little carbonation. Definitely has that dark and stormy character with a good dose of rum. Condition let's it down a bit, but fun anyhow.

Aroma: Very fruity with strong prunes and alcohol. Flavour: Very alcoholic and very fruity sweet with dried fruits. Aftertaste is fruity sweet and lingering alcohol. Mouthfeel is warm and sticky. Colour: orange brown with a dissapearing head. Cheap looking. From: Bottle @ Boxbeers.com Apr. 2018.
