Draught @ Craft Beer Co - Clerkenwell, 82 Leather Lane, Clerkenwell, Greater London, England EC1N 7TR. [ As Thornbridge / Magic Rock Exalted ].Clear medium yellow amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, nutty notes, light to moderate hoppy, flowers, elderflowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, flowers, pale malt, nutty notes, caramel notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (Keg at Hilpeä Hauki, 20161008). The beer poured deep mahogany coloured and clear. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had grass, malts and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, grass, sweetness, herbalness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. An amber ale rebranded as an altbier. Not bad but feels like cheating.

Keg at CBC Clerko, 10/08/16. Golden orange with a decent light beige head. Nose is light hop, caramel, biscuit, malty, straw. Taste comprises toasted grains, caramel, airy malts, orange rind, citric tinged straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light hop sprinkle. Decent enough refreshment but overly hopped for the style.

Draft @ Craft Beer Co - Clerkenwell, Clerkenwell EC1. Pours a clear pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

Keg at Craft Clerkenwell. It pours clear rich amber - brown with a thick pale lightest tan head. The aroma is toasted maltage, earthy, pine, varnish, toffee, orange sherbet and honeysuckle. The taste is crisp, clean, toasted grain, earth, wood, leather, cereal and caramel with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Clean and drinkable. Good alt by all accords.

Cask at the CBC Clerkenwell, at the thornbridge tap takeover a clear amber copper coloured pour with a lasting sticky off white head. Aroma is sweet bready nutty malts, pine needle, tangerine . Flavour is composed of nutty malts, hints of toasted bread, pine, orange rind, mineral. Palate is medium light, very good confition, crisp finish. Good.

Cask at CBC Clerks. Pours clear rich honey-gold with a tight, creamy head. Nice aroma, lightly toasted pale bread, orange rind. Light-medium sweet flavour with subtle grain, ripening citrus, bread, low bitterness, faint caramel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Great balance to finish, more bready malts, light citrus hop aspect, faint toasty grain. Lovely.

Keg. Klare orange goldene Farbe, geringe weiße schaumkrone. Geruch mild hopfig, nussig, leicht karamellig. Geschmack mild hopfig, rotes malz, Karamell, mild nussig.
